The Discipline of all ranks during the year has been satisfactory.

4. Appointments, Promotions etc. of Officers and Staff.

Staff

Captain C.V.3.3krimshire resigned his appointment as Staff Officer

on 14th November 1914.

Captain G.E.3tewart was appointed Adjutant on 10th December 1914.

Captain H.R.0.Julker, 25th Punjabis, was appointed Inspecting Officer

of Volunteers and Reserves on 14. 11. 14. He resigned on leaving the

Colony 25. 2. 15 and Captain A. Riddell, 74th Punjabis was appointed

to succeed him from 15. 3. 15.

Captain C.E.Lawder, late R.3.A. & R.F.A. was granted a temporary Commission as Captain (supernumerary) on 6. 8. 14 and as local Major

11. 8. 14. for duties as Provost Marghal.

Medical Staff

Surgeon Lieutenant G.D.R.Black was promoted to Surgeon Captain on

Bowen 12. 8. 14 and was appointed for duty at the Military Hospital,

Road, on 22. 2. 15. in addition to his Volunteer duties.

All recruits for the H.K.V.C. are examined and passed by him. Dra.J.T.Jualley and C.J. McKenny were appointed 3urgeon Lieutenants 7. 4. 14. and 5. 8. 14. respectively and have assisted Surgeon

Captain Blaok in all his Volunteer duties since their appointment.

Artillery Battery

Oaptain M.S.northcote resigned on 14. 4. 14 and was succeeded in

Command of No. 1 Section by Captain E.D.C.Wolfe.

Sergeant J.D.Danby H.K, V.R, was granted a Commission as temporary

Lieutenant on 2. 11. 14. and posted to No. 2 Section.

Private 0. Willson,Left Section,,G,Co. was granted a Commission

as Lieutenant on 7. 7. 14. and posted to No.2 Section.

He was granted a Commission as temporary 2nd Lieutenant R.G.A. on
